What we are looking for?

After the mineral is extracted from the mine, it must go through the crushing and milling process in order to extract copper. The crushing process and its equipment are exposed to damage from uncrushable elements such as iron, wire, and rubber that often enter the process, resulting in up to 3% annual production losses. A solution is needed to detect and extract uncrushable elements without stopping the operational process.
Consider that the extracted mineral is high in magnetite.




Its operations are located in the Atacama region, Chile, with various points of extraction and processing of this mineral.


EBITDA 2021 and 2022 of US$ 185 and 142 million respectively.



How will we evaluate your solution?

“To reduce plant downtime due to uncrushable detection by half, achieving a maximum of 1.5% inefficiency in operating time (less than 100 hours per year of downtime) and minimize repair costs. Ideally, the technology should be able to not only detect uncrushable materials but also extract them without stopping the operation.”
