Technologies for determining the minimum effective flow rate of hydroelectric turbines

The objective of this challenge is to determine the flow rate at which the onset of incipient cavitation in a hydroelectric turbine can be detected, in order to increase power generation range.
We are looking for technologies capable of measuring factors that may indicate incipient cavitation—such as noise, pressure, or deformation—in order to generate data that can identify the minimum flow rate just before cavitation begins.
Please note that vibration caused by cavitation is already being monitored.
