Business models seeking to generate solutions from new uses of raw materials derived from pork and chicken production
More
Power distribution in cities relies on crucial infrastructures such as cables, conductors, transformers, and posts.
After completing their lifecycle, cables, and conductors are removed from the power grid and processed for metal recovery. Keeping track of these materials throughout their lifecycle has become a key challenge to improve circularity.
Power grid components are currently monitored and traced throughout a small portion of their value chain, starting at removal from the power grid after use, and ending after sending to waste managers.
We are interested in testing new technology solutions that allow tracing material flow throughout the complete lifecycle – from installation on the power grid, until material recovery after use, certifying proper usage, and promoting new product development with local entrepreneurs.
